Values are the heartbeat of any organization. For North Harbor, they reveal not only who we are, but why we are. Think of the following list as a self-portrait of sorts. These values are what we use to define what our ministry is and should continually strive to be. The Scripture references in parentheses are for specific passages that support these values.
Bible and Culture:: We believe that the ministry of Christ's church on earth will bring about life transformation in its people if it remains Biblically based and culturally relevant (Psalm 119:11; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Leadership:: We believe that the church is best led by Christ-followers who possess leadership gifts and embrace the mission, vision and core values of their church (Romans 12:8).
