The very first Christians looked at their world as a field, a place where the seed of truth could be planted, would germinate, and then eventually grow into something beautiful and profoundly good.
North Harbor refers to new churches, new works of God, as "plants" because they are organic manifestations of his message of hope that can, with a little soil, water, and sun, grow into something good and life-changing for a community.
It is North Harbor's vision that our faith community in Brunswick and Topsham would grow to the point of being able to support the life of another work of God... in Biddeford, perhaps, or Waterville, or Augusta. Frankly, we want to see green growth for God all over the state and beyond! North Harbor intentionally seeks out others who share a burden for reaching New England for the cause of Christ that we might take part in the privilege of training, equipping, and sending forth other church planters to do in those areas what has already been done here.
