We believe that ministry is best done in the context of community where we can learn from and lean on one another... that's why we have chosen to align ourselves with a number of organizations that represent what is most important about the content and style of our ministry.
North Harbor is the most recent church plant of the Northeast District of the Baptist General Conference. This conference is rooted firmly in Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations. We are consistently impressed that this organization refuses to lay down quietly in the face of oppression in its many forms. The BGC works to overcome issues of gender, racial, and socio-economic oppression not only in the United States, but around the world. They are a group of churches who realize the value of diversity, and carry out the practice of grace.
